Weekly Announcements:
  • From the School Adjustment Counselor: Happy Spring! Check out April's Mental Health Memo on vaping! Don't forget to read as a PDF to access the additional links within!
  • Prom Tickets: Prom Tickets ($70) are on sale now until April 12th in Mr. Chatham's Office! You can also purchase tickets at lunch. Don't forget to pay our class dues before you purchase a ticket.
  • Project 351 Clothing Drive: There will be a clothing drive for the charity Cradles to Crayons in order to give clothes to less fortunate children. All children's clothing is accepted up to adult medium, and all footwear is accepted up to adult size 10. Please put all donations in the light blue bin outside the main office. The drive will run from now until April 5th, so hurry to bring in clothes - thank you!.
  • Attention Seniors: Cap and Gown Measurements will happen Friday, April 5 during all lunches. Everyone must be fitted for the correct size cap and gown!
  • Transition to College Workshop: There will be a Transition to College Workshop, April 6th 9am-4pm in Newton, MA. This workshop is being run by colleagues for parents of students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder in order to answer some of the key questions and concerns about transitioning to college with special education needs.
  • From the School Store: The School Store will be selling anorak jackets as a fundraiser for students who made it to ICDC. Place your pre-order now to receive $40 pre-order pricing!.
  • Stuff-a-Bus: Student Council will be hosting Stuff-a-Bus in the senior lot on April 7th from 9 am to 1 pm! Please bring in non-perishable items to donate to the Milford Food Pantry and help support those less fortunate in our community! In addition, Student Council will be attending the annual Walk for Hunger in Boston on May 5th! If you would like to join in on the fun, please contact Mr. Chatham to get involved and help the fight against world wide hunger!
  • DECA Fundraiser: DECA will be hosting a Dairy Queen Fundraiser from 4-8pm on April 8th and a Chipotle Fundraiser from 5-9pm on April 9th: Make sure to screenshot the flyer/have a flyer when you arrive to support Hopedale DECA's ICDC Competition!
  • Virtual High School Meeting: There will be an informational meeting for any students interested in Virtual High School for next year. Students currently taking online classes will attend to discuss what it is like to take an online course. See Mrs. Mulroney for further details. Meeting Tuesday, April 9th at 2:05 PM
  • PTO Fundraiser: PTO will be hosting a fundraiser at South Side Bar & Grill from 6-9pm on April 27th. Proceeds go towards the After Prom Party!
  • DECA Chipotle Fundraiser: Come to Chipotle and take a night off from cooking on Tuesday, April 9th! Support Hopedale DECA anytime from 4pm to 8pm as they continue to raise funds to compete at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida!
  • Mr. Hopedale: Mr. Hopedale will be held April 11th at 7pm and admission is $7.
  • Book Drive: There will be a book drive running from Wednesday, April 3rd through Friday, April 12th. A box is located outside the main office to collect donations of slightly used books, sudoku and crossword puzzle books, and “cheater” reading glasses. All donations will be brought to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • Attention Sophomores & Juniors: There will be an Information Session for Internships & Capstones for next year on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 2:05 - 2:35 pm in the MPR. Any interested sophomore or junior should attend to get a copy of the application and enrollment procedures. Mrs. Ingemi will be available to answer any questions as well. Please email Mrs. Ingemi if you would like more information but cannot attend the meeting on April 30th. Thank you!
  • Junior High Semi-Formal: The Junior High Semi-Formal Dance will be held Saturday, May 11th. Parents, please email any questions to class advisors Laura Buchanan and Sarah Liska.
  • 2019 Blue Raider 5k: On May 11th, the Hopedale Boosters will be hosting the 11th annual Blue Raider 5k in honor of former coach Larry Olson. To print the registration form, click here.

  • Senior Events: Please click here to view a list of senior events and ceremonies. Please note, some events may be subject to change.
  • End of Quarter 3: Quarter 3 ends Friday, April 5th
  • Senior Week Events/ Cap & Gown Measurements: Parents, we will be sending out a schedule of senior class events next week through both mail and email. Cap and gown measurements will take place April 5th during lunches.
  • Senior Sports Photos: Senior parents and athletes, please forward any athletics photos and videos (mostly need from before 7th grade) to HHSsportsawards@hopedaleschools.org for the Senior Sports Night.
  • School Committee Meeting: The next meeting of the School Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the Jr.-Sr. High School Media Center. All Are Welcome!

    Raider Spotlight

    The EBlast is getting a new look!

    Every week students in the Public Relations class code the EBlast - line by line. With the popularity of the EBlast a more efficient method became necessary and HJSHS will be switching over to Mail Chimp next week for the April 11th E-Blast. All emails used with Mail Chimp will be kept private and not shared with 3rd party services. An unsubscribe option will be available if you choose not to receive the Blast.
