    Teacher Spotlight

    Teacher: John Mancone

History teacher, John Mancone, is currently teaching his 7th grade classes about the ancient Romans and their Empire. One of the most important aspects of the Roman life was their military and fighting techniques. Mr. Mancone has had his 7th graders do research projects on the Romans and instead of just having the students give presentations, he had them display their research on Roman war shields. After they talked about their research he took his classes outside and had the kids learn about the Roman's fighting techniques and formations. For more photos, visit Mr. Mancone's twitter here.
