What is cyberbullying?
depressed
Leads to suicide
Anger in the world
Bully victims can be depressed. Victims of bullying can commit suicide. When victims get bullied, they can get angry and take it out on the world, so they can also be seen as a bully.
The story I want to share
In my story, I was the:
Survivor
Defender
Witness
It happened on...
Here's what happened
Bob, a friend of mine, was on Facebook and there were a group of people that kept bothering him. Soon after, they were bullying him online. It got so out of hand, so he deleted his Facebook account.
3 things I want you to know
Cyberbullying can be dangerous
Cyberbullying can occur outside of social media
Cyberbullying can bring serious problems
What can you do?
You can watch where and how you navigate online, and can warn others about the websites that cyberbullying can occur on. If you are being cyberbullied, you should tell someone you trust about it (e.g.Parents, teachers, friends, etc.)
Safe Spaces
Jerry the Giraffe
The freedom to 'pass'
No judgements
Freedom of speech
What I want adults to know
@parents, cyberbullying can happen anywhere and to anyone. You should be careful and watch your children if they are getting cyberbullied.
@teachers, students aren't safe from cyberbullying even if they are in school, you should check in on what's happening and the students' problems.
