The story I want to share
In my story, I was the:
It happened on...
This day which I don't remember, where i was bullied really bad.
Here's what happened
I got bullied when I was only in grade two, when I had no friends because my sister and I where the new kids in school. We also got bulllied on the first day of school. When it was first recess, I was on the playground and that's when they came in front of me. There was a little bridge where we would have to cross to get to the slide and they came in my way, started to push me and punch me. Of course I was not going to just sit there and do nothing, so I started to fight back until the teacher rang the bell. When we went in after the break I sat by myself because I was too scared to come back in the class room. I thought that they were going to beat me up but they did not. To end this story on a good note - after we talked it out about what happend, everything was okay and we ended up being friends. We are really good friends till this day.
3 things I want you to know
Don't hit back or they can blame everything on you
Do not be afraid to stick up to the bully
The thrid thing I want you to know is don't be afraid to tell the teacher
What can you do?
Something that you can do is tell the teacher or a close friend about it so you can get some help. Also stick up to the bully.
Jerry the Giraffe
What I think is a safe space is a place where you go and you are not judged for who you are.
Also a place where everyone is welcomed no matter what
When no rude or mean comments are made about you
What I want adults to know
@parents, what i want you to know parents is that cyberbulling is always on social media. No matter what, there will always be that one bully.
@teachers, If you see a student not looking normal for example: sick, sad etc. - Ask them what's going on. I know at first they are not going to open up but keep trying.
