What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is using the internet to harass and insult people, making them feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
The story I want to share
In my story, I was the:
It happened on...
What went down
My friends were taking pictures of a member in our group. They chose horrible memes to go along with the photo and that friend wasn't too fond of the comments being made. My friend got upset and told them to take it down, they refused and bad mouthed her. I decided to step in and defend her, making her feel like someone was on her side. They finally took it down and we all just laughed about the situation.
3 things I want Survivors to know
The only love is self love.
Don't fight fire with fire.
Bullies only pick on the ones who intimidate them.
What can you do?
Talk to the right person.
Jerry the Giraffe
Have a safe word "Pineapples".
Youth centers that are reliable.
What I want adults to know
@parents, technology is getting more advanced and so are children, so parents take the time to talk to your children.
@teachers, it's important that you address your class on the cause and the effect cyberbullying has on students.
